WHY “PLUME”?

The word “plume” means simultaneous nib and feather in French.

Nib, nib points, ink and inkwell were once the essential tools of the editor. Although nowadays the nib has been replaced by the ballpoint pen, it remains the universal symbol of careful writing. Wishing to highlight our main legal service, we deemed it appropriate to give our firm the name of this elegant old-fashioned writing instrument.

The feather is also a symbol of peace and freedom of mind in several nations. In some indigenous communities, it is used in purification rituals to capture and redistribute energies. A falling feather lets itself be carried by the wind.
